Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy describes how DemandTraX Software (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the DemandTraX™ platform (the “Service”). DemandTraX is a business tool: the data we process is primarily your organization’s inventory and sales data, not consumer personal data.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address, and authentication credentials, managed through Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In if you choose it).

Customer business data. The inventory, part, supplier, and sales-history data you upload or connect in order to use the Service. You control what you upload.

Usage and technical data. Log data, approximate usage metrics (e.g., forecast runs), device/browser information, and error diagnostics, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Cookies. We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session state. We do not use advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Information

We use information solely to:

  • Provide the Service — including generating forecasts and inventory recommendations from your data;
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts (including tenant isolation between organizations);
  • Provide support and communicate service notices;
  • Monitor errors, abuse, and performance;
  • Improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your business data to train models shared with other customers or the public.

4. AI Processing

To generate forecasts and qualitative analyses, relevant portions of your business data (such as a part’s sales history) are processed by Google Cloud Vertex AI under Google Cloud’s data-processing terms. Per those terms, Google does not use Vertex AI customer data to train its foundation models.

5. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We rely on the following providers to operate the Service:

  • Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, authentication, database, and analytics infrastructure (United States, us-central1);
  • Google Vertex AI — AI-assisted forecast generation;
  • Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics;
  • Brevo — transactional email delivery.

Each provider processes data only as needed to perform its function for us.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account termination, Customer Data is available for export for 30 days and then deleted from active systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion at any time at support@demandtrax.app.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted by per-organization isolation rules, role-based permissions, and authentication on every request. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting us at support@demandtrax.app. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection laws (such as GDPR or state privacy acts); we will honor verified requests as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
